Fine Art Printing

I love the spontaneity and the fluidity of the printing process. There is also something gratifying in nurturing a print from manipulating ink on a glass surface to the end pulled print. I often overlay other techniques, such as screen printing, to give each one a unique quality.

Drawing

Drawing is a great discipline, one of my favourite pursuits, especially life drawing, which always offers a new challenge. I know from experience that my work is much stronger when I devote time to doing this regularly.

Photography and Digital Image Making

Photography has, over time, become more influential in my work because of its speed, adaptability and the opportunities for image making with digital tools. My photographs rarely stay in their original form. I relish pushing the creative process further to explore colour and abstract form.
